At the core of the Elysian City<\/strong> update is a new level cap<\/strong>. The hard cap has increased from level 195 to level 200<\/strong>, with Heroes League<\/a> entry at level 195<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Resting XP <\/strong>will now continue all the way up to level 199.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Ready for a smoother journey, hero? <\/strong>We recently had a significant game re-balance for 0 – 180<\/a><\/strong> which significantly reduced the XP needed to level up<\/strong> and also increased drop rates<\/strong> on equipment up to that level. We are pleased to confirm there have been some further adjustments<\/strong> in this area and players can now expect some more improvement<\/strong> here.<\/p>\n

Important note:<\/span> XP changes<\/h3>\n

As often happens, XP tables have grown a little large. We have therefore taken the step to divide all XP by 2<\/strong> – that means mobs now give half their usual XP<\/strong> and you will only need half the usual XP to level up<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Elysian City<\/h1>\n

\"\"<\/a>Your Heroic journey to the Elysian City <\/strong>will begin with a new Quest “Tales of the Other Side<\/strong>” (quest visible from level 160 but access still possible for others).<\/p>\n

Once there, you will discover a thriving city protected by a great wall from the powerful level 190+ monsters<\/strong> which surround it.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Discover merchants<\/strong> with skills such; as multi-item socketing<\/strong> and multi-item salvaging<\/strong>; pet food crafting<\/strong> and orb refining<\/strong>; mythic socketing<\/strong> and mythic salvaging<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Travel out to the scorched earth around Hellmouth<\/strong> and fight the powerful Alu Demons <\/strong>who hold on tightly to level 194+ equipment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Gain Achievements<\/strong> for slaughtering an Alu Beast<\/strong> or even an Alu Champion<\/strong> as they guard the entrances to the Infernal Rifts<\/strong> – the source power for level 4 skills<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Hellmouth<\/strong> and the Infernal Rifts<\/strong> operate with “hidden supers<\/strong>” – all Super and Champion monsters will remain hidden until they are hit at least once<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A large part of this update was adapting all the current upgrade pathways and adding new levels of quality while consciously keeping a good balance of power in game.<\/p>\n

Looking to make your kit Epic? Combine 3x XL or “Perfect”<\/strong> runes to make Epic Runes<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

Available for BraveryCrystal<\/strong>, MagicCrystal<\/strong>, SoulCrystal<\/strong>, Emerald<\/strong>, Ruby<\/strong>, Sapphire<\/strong>, Topaz<\/strong>, Tanzanite<\/strong>, Almandine<\/strong>, FuryRune<\/strong>, ArcaneRune<\/strong> and SpiritRune<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Use an Extraction tool<\/strong> from the Game Shop to pull out all the sockets on an item above level 180<\/strong>\u00a0(time limited availability).<\/p>\n

PLUS:<\/strong> Drops of the above runes\/sockets have been increased\/added on main bosses\/subs from level 120 onwards.<\/p>\n

All gems in game can now be upgraded<\/strong> using the player’s inventory upgrade facility. Simply combine 2x Gems with 1x Gem Refine Oil <\/strong>and you will create a gem of improved quality.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Perfect Bravery Gem<\/strong> + Perfect Bravery Gem<\/strong> + Gem Refine Oil<\/strong> = Epic Bravery Gem<\/strong><\/p>\n

Speak with Kevin in Mongchon<\/strong> to buy Gem Refine Oils<\/strong> or look out for a bounty from Foxx<\/strong> who sometimes has some to give away!<\/p>\n

Arcane Vault<\/h2>\n

Each player character now has it’s own personal Arcane Vault<\/strong> of Gold<\/strong>, Demon Souls<\/strong> and XP! <\/strong>(unlockable from level 100)<\/p>\n

While hunting, in addition<\/strong> to what you normally collect, the Vault fills with extra points<\/strong> and can then be unlocked by collecting keys<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

You’ll need 5x Silver Vault Keys<\/strong> and 1x Gold Vault Key<\/strong>. They keys can be taken from the Game Shop or Silver keys will drop while hunting<\/strong> (once the Vault is “filled”).<\/p>\n

Your Arcane <\/strong>Vault<\/strong> is classed as “filled<\/strong>” when one or more<\/strong> of the bars reaches 100%<\/strong> (that is for Gold<\/strong>, Demon Souls<\/strong> and XP). <\/strong>Maintain an Extermination Meter <\/strong>for the keys to drop.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Account Buffs<\/h2>\n

Level a Warrior<\/strong>, a Wizard<\/strong> and a Taoist<\/strong> on your account to share buffs between players<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

There are 3 levels of buffs<\/strong> to be earnt at different levels<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

  1. 10 levels below Heroes League (currently 185<\/strong>)<\/li>\n
  2. Heroes League (currently 195<\/strong>)<\/li>\n

    PK Protection and Karma<\/h2>\n

    Some trial features<\/strong> for PK protection<\/strong> have been added. These features will be constantly reviewed to ensure the balance is fair for players who wish to play on either side of the good \/ evil camp.<\/p>\n

    1. Increased the PK points<\/strong> gained when a high level<\/strong> player kills a low level<\/strong> player<\/li>\n
    2. Increased the Karma points<\/strong> lost when a high level<\/strong> player kills a low level<\/strong> player<\/li>\n
    3. Increased the cost<\/strong> of removing PK<\/strong> points based on Karma<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Bug Fixes and Other Issues<\/h2>\n

      \u2713 <\/strong>Fixed bug – alchemy ingredients not deducting time from potions as described

      Unfortunately development takes a long time and so many ideas that players had suggested were not finished in time for this update. As you may notice from the content above, most of these new features are intertwined and so it was important to make sure they were all released together.<\/p>\n
