With thanks to members of the community<\/strong> and their valuable input<\/strong> we have spent some time considering a new direction for Mythic items<\/strong> and the previously announced Ancient items<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The old vision<\/strong> for Ancient items<\/strong> has been scrapped<\/strong> and to some extent implemented into Mythic items<\/strong> as Mythic Crafting<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Craft a Mythic Item<\/h1>\n

New specialised merchants<\/strong> will help you craft Mythic<\/strong> items with an empty Mythic Socket <\/strong>into your favourite items. The cost for this will be in both Gold<\/strong> and Mythic Essence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The steps can be simplified as<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Collect Mythic Essence<\/li>\n
  2. Forge a socket with Mythic Essence<\/li>\n
  3. Find a Mythic Source<\/li>\n
  4. Insert the Source into the socket<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Collect Mythic Sources<\/h2>\n

    \"\"<\/a>At the centre of a powerful Mythic<\/strong> item is it’s Source<\/strong>. A Mythic Source<\/strong> is a great singularity of unique power.<\/p>\n

    Collect Mythic Sources<\/strong> from bosses, challenge rooms and events<\/strong> in game. But first, make sure the source you want compliments the item you want to upgrade..<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Extract a Source<\/h3>\n

    Use a Mythic Source Extraction Tool<\/strong> to remove a rare Mythic Source<\/strong> from a Mythic<\/strong> item<\/strong>. Extraction will seal the socket<\/strong>\u00a0on the item and recover a re-useable Mythic Source<\/strong>. The Extraction Tool<\/strong> can be found in the GameShop<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Create a Mythic Socket<\/h2>\n

    \"\"<\/a>Specialised<\/strong> craft-smiths such as Wen<\/strong> in Mud Wall Blacksmiths<\/strong> are able to forge Mythic Sockets<\/strong> into items using Mythic Essence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Their skilled services<\/strong> demand a very high Gold<\/strong> cost. The amount of required Mythic Essence<\/strong> increases for more powerful items<\/strong> and is particularly high for Armours<\/strong> and Weapons<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    These smiths’ skills are not yet refined enough to create sockets in Unique or Rare items.<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Earn Mythic Essence<\/h2>\n

    In order to craft a\u00a0Mythic Socket<\/strong>, you must first collect some\u00a0Mythic Essence<\/strong>. There are two main sources of\u00a0Mythic Essence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Salvage a Mythic Source<\/h3>\n

    \"\"<\/a>Visit Song<\/strong> in Mud Wall<\/strong> Blacksmiths<\/strong> who can salvage any Mythic Sources<\/strong> into Mythic Essence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    This is a great way to quickly earn<\/strong> some Essence<\/strong> if you have spare Sources<\/strong>. And it’s relatively cheap!<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Salvage Mythic Items<\/h3>\n

    As usual, you may find\u00a0Mythic<\/strong>\u00a0items<\/strong> through normal gameplay.<\/p>\n

    Mythic<\/strong>\u00a0items<\/strong> drop most regularly from rare and unusual bosses<\/strong>, and sometimes from Super and Champion monsters<\/strong>\u00a0throughout Arcadia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Use your favourite\u00a0Salvage<\/strong>\u00a0NPC, crush an item down to\u00a0Essence<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0Design<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0also<\/strong>\u00a0earn some\u00a0Mythic Essence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Insert Source into Socket<\/h2>\n

    \"\"<\/a>Place a\u00a0Mythic Source <\/strong>into an empty\u00a0Mythic Socket <\/strong>and\u00a0create a powerful piece of equipment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Once the Mythic <\/strong>Source<\/strong> has been inserted into the Mythic Socket<\/strong> it can only be removed with an Extraction Tool<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
